For members who wish to join a tournament after the registration date has passed and/or cannot play in every round of a tournament, the following policies have been implemented:

Late Registration

• A late fee of $5 must be paid on top of the registration fee.  Note the late fee will be waived for the 2023 Winter Active Tournament
• Members can still enter a tournament up to the third-to-last round of the tournament.  For example, in a 6 round tournament, registration is accepted up to and including the 4th round
• The latest a member can join for a particular round is 10 minutes before the round has started

Bye Requests

• Members can request up to two 1/2 point byes in the event they cannot play every round of a tournament
• 1/2 point byes cannot be requested for either of the final two rounds of a tournament.  This is to prevent situations where the choice of a 1/2 point bye could influence the final results of the tournament
• The latest a member can request a 1/2 point bye is 10 minutes before the round has started
