From Hardik Shrestha:

• The 2023 AGM successfully implemented the proposed changes. Members voted to elect a board of directors and adopt the new strategic plan and bylaws.
• Using a ranked paper ballot system, the club elected the following 5 directors: Steve Demmery, Michal Wiraszka, Edgar Zapata, Mike Harris, and Leroy Gibson.
• Steve Demmery and Michal Wiraszka are both previous presidents. Edgar Zapata and Leroy Gibson both served on the 2023 executive committee. Mike Harris is a long-time member of the club and serves on several boards as a director.
• The directors appointed Hardik Shrestha as President. This is his second term. The President appointed Gregory Wei as Vice-President, Ryan Sarson as Tournament Director, and Gerry Litchfield as Treasurer.
• The meeting succeeded in modernizing the organization’s governance structure and implementing an ambitious yet strategic plan, successfully positioning the organization for future growth and continued service to its members and the community.
