Many junior and adult tournaments are run throughout the year. These tournaments are rated by the Chess Federation of Canada (CFC) and all participants will attain an official chess rating.
There are beginner and intermediate sections with prizes up to at least 3rd place in each section. Junior tournaments are for kids between the age of 7-14. Adult tournaments are open to all ages.
